Ernest F "Sonny" Wilm Jr, age 58, passed away at Provena St Joseph Medical Center in Joliet with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife; his two sons; two granddaughters; brother; five sisters; and numerous in-laws.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Hilda Wilm; & brothers Ricky, Mark and Jim.
Sonny grew up and lived in Joliet all his life, and worked for Sheffield Steel for 25 years, & was working for Parsac when he died.
Sonny is an avid fan of racing at Route 66.
Funeral services will be held Friday February 8, 2013 at 11:00am at the Blackburn Giegerich Sonntag Funeral Home 1500 Black Road, Joliet, Illinois.
Interment to be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

Also surviving one brother Art, Joyce and Donnie, Fran and Dino and Eileen. His in laws Judy and Joe (deceased), Carl (dec.) and Sharon, Robert and Cindy, Larry (deceased) and Gayle, Shirley (deceased) and Lindell. Carol (deceased) and James (deceased), Gloria and James, Ruth (deceased) and Sonny (deceased), Richard and Tammy, Charles and Deb, Tammy and Wally, Bev and Billy, Sherry and Tom, RoseAnn and Darell, Dave and Brenda, Fred and Kathy and Betty. Many dear friends and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
