Crisp, Robert Burns, Jr. – age 64 of Blaine passed away at home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Member of Bashert Baptist Church. Retired Captain of the Knoxville Fire Department and a decorated Vietnam veteran. Preceded in death by mother, Bonnie Ogan Crisp Lauthner; father, Robert B. Crisp, Sr.; stepfather, Edward Jack Lauthner; and sister, Carolyn Emanuel. Survived by wife, Kelly Crisp; son, Josh Crisp; daughter, Stephanie Crisp; grandchildren, Donovan Johnson and McKinley Crisp; brother, Bill Crisp (Brenda); sisters, Judi Nelson (Dwaine), Janie Rutherford (Dean), and Cathy Sharp (Ricky); half brother, Steve Lauthner (Chris); brothers-in-law, Michael McBee and Doug McBee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Darrall Walker and Chaplain Paul Trumpore officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. on Monday at Bookwalter Cemetery for a 2 p.m. interment.
