Funeral for Mrs. Mary Louise Catlin, 2943 SE Alder St., will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Gable Funeral Home, followed by burial in Riverview Cemetery. She died Monday in a local hospital.

Born April 24, 1882, in Portland, Mrs. Catlin spent most of her childhood in Kelso, Wash., where her parents were early settlers in Cowlitz Country. In 1918, she returned to Portland where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church and Eastgate Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Portland.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Vivian L. Andrews, and Mrs. Frances E. Williams, both of Portland; a brother, Walter N. Smith, Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Marsh, Chehalis, Wash.; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
