Born in Hartford, son of the late George and Genave (Jerominek) Wolf, he was a West Hartford resident for most of his life, before moving to Wethersfield seven years ago.
He graduated from Conard High School, Class of 1962 where he enjoyed playing football. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #19 of Hartford for over 40 years and the Lions Club of Elmwood.
He was once employed by Wolf Printing in Elmwood and was currently employed by MDC.
Along with his wife, Peter leaves his daughter Kelly E. Wolf of Manchester; his two grandsons, Justin L. Figueroa and Jason R. Figueroa both of Manchester; and his future great granddaughter. He also leaves his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bradford and Mary Jane of Bristol and Christopher and Elaine of Glastonbury; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, George E. Wolf, Jr.
His funeral service will begin on Saturday, June 30, at 9 a.m. at the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, Wethersfield.
He will be laid to rest privately in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 5-8pm, at Newington Memorial, with the Elk's Service beginning at 7 p.m.
