Tammie Renae Robinson

Tammie Renae Robinson, 38, of Sweetwater, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Sweetwater Hospital.

A native of Etowah and longtime resident of Monroe County, she was a daughter of the late Chuckie Lee Robinson Sr. and was preceded in death by a brother, Chuckie Lee Robinson Jr. on Dec. 1, 2012; her paternal grandparents, Edger and Mousiey Robinson; and maternal grandparents, J.L. and Kattie Lankford. She was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Waffle House.

Survivors include two sons, Dustin Lee Robinson and Malcolm Scott Robinson of Sweetwater; one grandson, Dontay Michael Lee Robinson of Sweetwater; her mother, Clara Mae Lankford Robinson of Sweetwater; her stepfather, Joe Goodman of Sweetwater; several uncles, J.C. Lankford, Clarence Lankford, Freddie Lankford, Ernest Lankford, Ralph Lankford, Daniel Robinson and Junior Robinson; and two aunts, Louise Willis and Judy Hill.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Lankford and the Rev. Floyd Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Clearwater Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ed Williams, Charles Dockery, Randy Lankford, William Smith, Calvin Lankford, J.C. Lankford and Timmy Lankford.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Ziegler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Tammie Robinson.
