Funeral services for Laudy Janda, 45, town of Mishicot farmer who was killed
when his car was struck by a Chicago & North Western train at the Rockwood
crossing Saturday morning will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Mary
Catholic Church at Tisch Mills, the Rev. Joseph Kalisek officiating. Internment
will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
Laudy Janda was born on the homestead farm upon which he resided in 1905, a son
of Wenzel and Ann Wranovsky Janda. He lived on the farm his entire life.
Surviving are his widow, the former Rose Fronk, his parents, who reside in Tisch
Mills, a daughter and two sons, all at home, a sister, and two brothers.
Friends may view the body at the farm home Monday evening, having been removed
Monday afternoon from Klein & Stangel Inc. funeral home, Two Rivers. The rosary
will be recited at the home at 8 o'clock Monday night.
Mr. Janda was a member of the Holy Name society of St. Mary church for many years.
