Mrs. Louisa Greenwood(sic), 79, lifelong Town of Gibson resident, died late yesterday at the farm home of her daughter, Mrs. Adolph Schultz in the Town of Gibson. Death followed a stroke.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock form the Schultz home and at 9:30 o'clock from the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot, with the Rev. Joseph VanBogart officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
Mrs. Greenwood, nee Louisa Mathey, was born in the Town of Gibson, Oct. 29, 1861(sic). In 1882 she was married to William Greenwood. Mr. Greenwood died seven years ago.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Adolph Schultz of Gibson; one sister, Mrs. Louis Abbet of Francis Creek and five grandchildren. The body was taken to the Specht Funeral Home in Mishicot, where it may be viewed until Friday afternoon when it will be taken to the Schultz home. The rosary will be recited at the Schultz home Friday at 8 pm.
