He was retired from Schmutz Mfg. Co., where he worked for 35 years. He was a US Navy veteran after serving his country in the Korean war. He was a loving husband, a great father and grandfather.
Left to cherish his memories are his son; Edward Pearce (Tamara); his grandchildren, Kyle, Shelbi and Alexis, a step-grandson, Wayne Burton (Aimee); and a great-granddaughter, Rylee Sara.

A Celebration of Eugene's life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave., with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit 2-8 p.m. Friday.
