PEARCE, EUGENE EDWARD "EEPS" 83, a longtime resident of Crescent Hill, went home to be with his Lord, and to be reunited with his loving wife, Norma Jean, and his daughter, Sara "Sally." He passed away early Wednesday morning, February 6, 2013 at Golden Living Center- Mt. Holly, where he was loved and cared for during his battle with Alzheimers.

He was retired from Schmutz Mfg. Co., where he worked for 35 years. He was a US Navy veteran after serving his country in the Korean war. He was a loving husband, a great father and grandfather.

Left to cherish his memories are his son; Edward Pearce (Tamara); his grandchildren, Kyle, Shelbi and Alexis, a step-grandson, Wayne Burton (Aimee); and a great-granddaughter, Rylee Sara.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to, Tina, Cheryl, Roderick, Shellicka and others at Golden Living Ct-Mt Holly, for their compassionate care provided to Eugenius.

A Celebration of Eugene's life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Ave., with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit 2-8 p.m. Friday.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to Alzheimer's Association.
