CLARK WINSTON-SALEM - Joel Darrell Clark Nov. 30, 1968 - July 5, 2011
Mr. Joel Darrell Clark, 42, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, July 5, 2011. He was born November 30, 1968 in Forsyth County to Edna Shown Clark and James Jackson Clark. Mr. Clark worked at the Educational Center in Greensboro for 13 years. He was a loving brother and friend who will be greatly missed. Joel was an avid sports fan who especially loved watching UNC Tarheels.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are six brothers and two sisters (names deleted). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Samaritan Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to www.hayworth-miller.com.
