Patricia C. Wolford, age 64 of Knoxville, Illinois, died at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 surrounded by her family at her daughter's home in Bradford, Illinois.
She was born July 16, 1948 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of George L. Waugh, Sr. and Madeline Rood Waugh. She attended and graduated from Abingdon High School in Abingdon, Illinois. She married Larry Robin Wolford on July 17, 1966 in Abingdon, Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2008.
Surviving are her children: Tiffany Wall of Bradford, Illinois and Troy (Teona) Wolford of Galesburg, Illinois. Five grandchildren: Emily Wall, Abby Wall and Natalie Wall and Brandon Wolford and Macy Wolford. One brother: Mick (Terry) Waugh of Kewanee, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, George Waugh.
She became a registered nurse graduating from Carl Sandburg College in 1986. She worked as a registered nurse at OSF St. Mary's in Galesburg, Illinois and at St. Francis in Peoria, Illinois. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Knoxville, Illinois and served on the church council and other committees. She enjoyed collecting Longaberger Baskets, was an avid reader and liked to sew and quilt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. Michael D. Clark and Pastor Amy Holman will officiate.
