Glenda P. (Glen) Lane, was born January 11, 1957 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Alfonzo and the late Rosemary (Kelso) Lane, and departed this life on April 7, 1998 at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Glenda was preceded in death by her grandfather Aaron Kelso.

She was strong willed, generous, kind and very loving, and loved everyone.

Glenda was a child care provider; she loved children.

She confessed in Christ at an early age, attended Snider High School and was a member of the Eastern Stars (St. Mary's Lodge).

Glenda leaves to cherish her memory; her father Alfonzo Lane, Sr.; three sisters, Debra, Theresa and Sonya (Alfreda), Lane all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three brothers, Alfonzo Lane Jr., Lee (Ricky) Lane, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Keith Wims, of Mobile, Alabama; four aunts, Eva (Kelso) Solomon of Detroit, Michigan, Edie Mystek, of Panorama City, California, Joyce McGown and Elaine Day, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one uncle, Charles Solomon, of Detroit, Michigan; four god sisters, Rochelle, Deetra, and Robin Johnson, and Anjanette Sewell, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a very, very special companion, John Lawson, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two great aunts, Mattie Tinker and Willie Hunter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
