Bobbie Walter George Jr., 82, of Maxwelton, WV was the son of the late Walter and Vergie Della Cales George. In addition to his parent, she (sic) was preceded in death by four brothers, Aldon, Franklin, Chester and Calvin George and a sister, Olive George Robinson. Bobbie was a retired coal miner from The George Coal Company and Westmoreland Coal Company, and a member of the UMWA. He was a beloved husband, Daddy, Pawpaw, brother, uncle and friend. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and loved to spend time with his wife and family. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Gilla Irene Burkholder George ; four daughters, Barbara Bragg, Sue Treadway, Anita George, Rose McClung; two brothers, Trophie George and Denver George; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
