Age 75, daughter of the late Frank Pierce and Blanche E. Blackman Halloran.
She was formerly a secretary for the 1st Presbyterian Church and was employed for 10 years at Dr. Richard Schaffnit Chiropractic. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in North East where she served as a deaconess and sang in the church choir. She also taught Sunday School.
She was preceded in death by: two sisters Virginia Montgomery and Sarah Conklin.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Richard H. Richter who she married May 28, 1949. Two sons Dana Richter and wife Diane of North East, Jonathan Richter and wife Pamela of North East, three daughters Bonnie Alcorn and husband Ron of North East, Paula Cook and husband Jack of North East and Joi Williams and husband David of Lewiston, N.Y. Also 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
