MCLEAN — Billy Joe Skipper Sr., 78, of McLean died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013.

Gravesides services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean with the Rev. Windell Knutson, pastor of First Baptist Church in McLean, officiating. Military honors will be rendered by Altus Air Force Base. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.

Billy was born Oct. 19, 1934, in Wellington to Charles Henry and Jessie Evalee Houston Skipper. He was a veteran of the Air Force. He married Betty Jo Bradford on June 21, 1958, in Walters, La.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lloyd Skipper; and a
grandson, Garrett Cleve Kennedy.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Skipper of McLean; a son, Billy Joe Skipper of McLean; two daughters, Lela Kennedy of Jonesville, La., and Ann Kincannon of Dozier; two brothers, Floyd Skipper of McLean and Charles Henry "Pete" Skipper of Sublett, Kan.; a sister, Sandra
Patton of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and two great-
grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church of McLean or McLean Fire Department.
