Herman C. Last, 91, who resided at 1522 S. 14th St. until moving to 3614 N. 15th St. six months ago, died Thursday morning at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Germany on March 6, 1874, a son of the late Carl and Johanna Last. He came to Sheboygan in 1891 and on Sept. 26, 1896, was married to Miss Bertha Kuether at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Mrs. Last died on Jan. 25, 1965.
A cabinetmaker, he was employed at Crocker Chair Co. until the 1930's when he transferred to Rway Furniture Co., where he was employed until retiring in 1940.
He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a former deacon of the church.
Survivors are one son, Bert, of Sheboygan; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Dault, of Sheboygan; one grandchild; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, August of Sheboygan, and Albert, of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ramm Funeral Home. The Rev. Lowell Thomas will officiate and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
