Garfield Dean "G. D." Brown, 48, a resident of Fort Wayne, Ind., and formerly of Robbins, passed away in Fort Wayne Sunday, June 13. He was the son of the late Henry Brown and the late Delphia Rich Brown, and was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include: four sons, Marshall Brown of Fort Wayne, Ind., Jerry Brown with the U. S. Navy, Teddy Brown of Fort Wayne, Ind., Carl Brown of Fort Wayne, Ind.; five daughters: Miss June Brown of Fort Wayne, Ind., Miss Sheila Brown Treadway of Cumberland Gap, Tenn., Mrs. Dephine Barrett of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Benita Gibson of Davisburg, Ky., Miss Debra Brown of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Boyd Brown of Robbins and Gordon Brown of Fort Wayne; four sisters, Miss Glena Rich of Lancing, Tenn., Mrs. Rema Winicker, Mrs. Thelma Young, and Miss Willene Brown, all of Fort Wayne. Six grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted from the Chapel of West Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, with Rev. Chuck Duncan officiating.
