She was born may 24, 1910, in Randolph County, Arkansas, the son of the late George W. and Gertrude Tiner Barnett.
She was preceded in death by her husband James S. Carter.
She was Church of God and retired from Ed White Shoe Factory.
She is survived by her nieces: Ruby Burrows, Isabel Waggoner, Dorotha Mochel and other family.
Her life was celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel. Burial was at Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.
