Mrs. Jennie Lynn (Mulkey) Steed passed away in Cleburne County from injuries sustained from an auto accident. She was a native of Clay County and a former resident of Riverside, IL and Atlanta, GA. Jennie then moved to Lineville and worked there for 17 years. In 1995 she relocated to Wedowee where she became a member of Morrison’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was music director, youth leader, Sunday school teacher and church treasurer. She was a dedicated servant and true humanitarian.
She’s survived by her husband in Wedowee, 3 sons, 3 sisters in Lineville, 2 brothers in Florida, and 2 granddaughters.
