Josiah Coburn son of Thomas and Remembrance (Underwood) Richardson Colburn was born 15-March-1684; died 06-Aug-1745 in Dracut, Middlesex, Mass.

He married Sarah daughter of Daniel and Sarah (Blood) Colburn (his 2nd cousin) on 08-June-1709 in Charlestown, Mass. Having six children.

THERE IS REFERENCE OF JOSIAH FIRST NAMED JONATHAN

i have heard the allegation that josiah was originally named jonathan, but there is now on family search.org, a birth record for josiah of 11-5-1682, chelmsford. the 1st jonathan d.1693 and a 2nd was b 1694 so i don't know how that story persisted. thought you might like to correct it. cheryl
