He was an auto mechanic and the owner/operator of White's Garage at Lapel, IN. He was also a member of Daybreak Community Church at Lapel.
Marshall was a sports fan including Nascar Racing, but most of all enjoyed watching his grandchildren as they participated in sporting events. He also enjoyed visiting his home state of Tennessee.
Surviving him are two sons: David M. (Betty) White of Cicero, IN and Douglas A. (Jennifer) White of New York State, a daughter: Marsha D. White of Louisiana, two brothers: Roy White and Fred White, both of Celina, TN and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Pitcock.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Daybreak Community Church at Lapel, IN with Pastor Richard Cole officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. prior to the services. Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements
