Shirley was born on September 30, 1941, at their homestead in Nuckolls County along the Little Blue River.
Survivors include brother, Robert Zeigler of Superior, NE; sisters, Joann Staseuka of Estes Park, CO, and Dolores White of Denver, CO; sons, Gregory Bohling of Edgar, NE, and Micheal Wormstadt of Juniata, NE; grandchildren, Cody Wormstadt, Cassidy Wormstadt, Kyler Wormstadt of Juniata, NE, Casey Helton of Fairfield, NE, Candy Jansen of Edgar, NE, and Crystal Jansen of Hastings, NE. Williams Funeral Home of Edgar provided the cremation services. Shirley requested not to have a funeral service.
