Military records show that Ernest, age 57, and Goldie were living in Elm Springs, AR when he registered for WWII.
On April 23, 1940, Ernest, shown as E.O., age 53, & Goldie, 39, lived in Elm Springs, Washington Co, AR where they were renting. Ernest work for the W.P.A. in road construction. Their sons, Calvin, age 19, & Leroy, age 16, were farm laborers. Their youngest son, Albert Lee, was 12 years old.
Ernest died in May 1967. Goldie died on January 11, 1983.
