MADISONVILLE, Ky.
Graveside services for Norya Beard Carmac, 91, of Madisonville, mother of Diane Prow Boyarski of Paducah, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville. The Rev. Hughlan Richey will officiate.

Mrs. Carmac died at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday at Regional Medical Center.

A former bookkeeper for Mine Equipment and the Trover Clinic, she formerly co-owned Beard Market. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Madisonville and the Regional Senior Citizens Center of Hopkins County.

Other survivors are one sister, Shirley Kemble of Madisonville; one brother, Jerry Beard of Lexington; two granddaughters, Larri Ane Vanatta of Nashville, Tenn., and Amy Prow Thomas of Paducah; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Carmac; two sisters; and one brother. Her parents were Ed Beard and Merley Mabrey Beard.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Regional Senior Citizens Center of Hopkins County, 200 N. Main St., Madisonville, KY 42431.
