Marion Clovis was a farmer and stock grower. He began his life near Mt. Morris, PA. Later he moved with his father to the Jollytown area and after marrying Sara Eakins moved to Pine Bank, PA where he built a fine home. He was one of the early members of the Methodist Church which was located within one mile of his home on the road to Brave, PA.
