Born on Dec. 19, 1914, in Shawnee, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Katherine (Mader) Ace. She was a resident of Monroe County all her life.
A 1933 graduate of East Stroudsburg High School, she was a former employee of the Holland Threat Company, Stroudsburg. She also did house cleaning and hair dressing in the Stroudsburg area for many years.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of East Stroudsburg.
Surviving are three daughters, Cindy Ace Shook of Effort, Sharon Jesse of Hazleton and Robin Shook of Stroudsburg; three grandsons, Derek Pipher of Crofton, Md., Lyle Pipher of Marietta, Ga., and Tristen Shook of Stroudsburg; two great grandsons; one sister, Emma Shick of Henryville; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Laurence Ace and Edward Ace; and one sister, Sarah Ace.
