Alyssa touched the lives of so many people during her fight with bone cancer. She was always smiling no matter what! She has changed many lives and will forever be missed.

Alyssa Skye Ranard, 11, of Copperas Cove, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the Christian House of Prayer in Copperas Cove, with Chaplain Judy Hoelscher officiating. Burial will follow at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery. There is no set time for visitation.
Alyssa was born on in Killeen, Texas, to James and Misty Ranard. She was a fifth grader at Martin Walker Elementary School.
Alyssa is survived by her mother, Misty Rich, of Copperas Cove; father, James Ranard, Jr., of San Jacinto, CA; sisters, Riley and Peyton Rich; brother, Chase Brosious; maternal grandmother, Sonya Brend and husband, Christopher; maternal grandfather, Dale Tatro; paternal grandparents, James and Barbie Ranard, Sr.; nine uncles; one aunt; and six cousins.
