Charles M. Bungard, age 84 of Berlin Center passed away peacefully into eternal life on June 21, 2011 at Northside Medical Center of natural causes.
On November 30, 1926 in Louisville, OH William D. & Zora E. (Miller) Bungard were blessed with the birth of their son, Charles.
Charles married the love of his life, Evelyn Palcisco on August 10, 1953 and they enjoyed 57 years of marriage together.
He had lived in Berlin Center since 1957 formerly of Diamond.
Charles worked at the Ravenna Arsenal for many years before retiring in 1988. He was a Sergeant in the US Army.
Charles loved gardening, fishing and playing the lottery.
Memories of Charles will be carried on by his loving family; his daughter and her husband Diane & Robert Miller of Mineral Ridge; his son and his wife David & Linda Bungard of Salem, OH; his brother Carl & Janice Bungard of Lake Wales, FL; his grandchildren Daniel, Scott, & Kevin Miller, Jason & his wife Brianna, David Jr. & his wife Angel Dawn Bungard.
Charles is preceeded in death by 4 brothers Paul, Robert, William, James, and one sister Shirley Spencer.
Calling hours will be held at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls on Saturday June 25, 2011 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. Funeral Services will be held immediately after calling hours at 12:00PM at the funeral home. Charles will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery.
