Sadie died in her sister, Eva's arms one evening (probably due to SIDS). Sadie is the youngest child of Thomas Barnett and Mary Jane (Hiatt) Stanford. She was born and died at Pine Coulee (near Stavely). The family always spoke of her as though she was still living. Although, she died about 37 years before I was born, she seems as real to me as my aunt and uncles I met.
