Derek Justin Carter, 28, of Knobel, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013.
He was born on November 9, 1984, in Paragould, Arkansas, and was the son of Ricky and Rhonda Morris Carter.
He is survived by his parents, a son, Dayton Carter; two daughters: Dakota Carter and Dayland Carter; brother, Cody Carter of Rector, Arkansas; sister, Spring Carter of Paragould, Arkansas; paternal grandmother, Ellen Carter of Kennett, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Sharon Morris of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel. Burial was in Woodland Heights cemetery in Rector, Arkansas with Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas in charge of arrangements.
