Anita S. Stratton, 52, of Mt. Carmel and formerly of Crossville, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. She was the daughter of Don and Vera Terrell of Phillipstown and was born in St. Paul, Minn.
Anita was employed in the motel/hospitality industry. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her dogs, fishing, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
Survivors include her parents, Don and Vera L. Terrell of Phillipstown; sons Thomas Mel Miller of Mt. Carmel, and Damion (April) Miller of Crossville; daughter Stephanie (Craig) Adams of Mt. Carmel; brothers Alan Dale (Vickie) Stratton and Donald Wayne Terrell, all of Phillipstown; sisters Anna Marie Stratton of Crossville, Anisa Fay Bassemier of Phillipstown, and Deborah Kay (Rick) Ferguson of Crossville; grandchildren Desirae Miller, Michael Miller, Brylan Scott, Owen Keith Ray Miller, Gabriella Renee Miller, Briana Dawn Ditterline, Gretchen Lono Hope Elliott, Austin Patrick Thomas Miller, Calais Skye Marie Adams, Harley D. Adams, B.J. Adams, Tyler Ray Adams; and great-grandchildren Harmony Sierra Jade Adams, Azihona Anna Nicole Adams, Destiny Adams, Meeyah Adams.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Alena May Stratton Hunt.
