Estelle Runnion Arp, 87, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and formerly of Greeneville, died Wednesday.
"She went to be with the Lord," her family stated.
She was a member of Towering Oaks Baptist Church, where she was "well known for her wonderful cooking and quilt making."
Mrs. Arp was the widow of Alfred Riley "Buck" Arp Jr., who died March 11, 2004, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Runnion of Benton Station.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Alfred R. "Rusty" Arp III and his wife, Nancy, of Murfreesboro, and David and Karen Arp of Richardson, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law: Sarah "Tootie" and Steve Sayler of Greeneville; six grandchildren and their spouses: Tracy and Chris Horner and Heather and Steven Tunnell, all of Greeneville; Alfred R. "Jym" Arp IV of Murfreesboro, Makeysha and Mike Sorenson of Smyrna, Ashley Arp of Richardson, and Angela Arp of Grand Prairie; and four great-grandchildren: Bennen Sorenson, Olivia Sorenson, and Riley Sorenson, all of Smyrna, and Rachel Arp of Murfreesboro.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Pearl Brackett, Betty Atchley, and Clyde Hammontree; and two brothers: Winston Runnion and Bill Runnion.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 2 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Dr. James K. Pierce III will officiate.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
