Mrs. Brooks was born Dec. 19, 1914 in Galivants Ferry, a daughter of the late Pearlie Homer and Delphia Cook Sellers. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Anna B. Roberts and her husband, L.P., of Georgetown; four grandchildren, ...; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, ... of Aiken; and one sister,... of West Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24,2006 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Henry Altman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at the funeral home.
