Joyce May Bronson was born on January 14, 1931 in Tremonton, UT to George Amos Bronson and Marguerite Wilcox. She married Henry Wolford Bissegger in Elko, NV on September 13, 1948. Henry died in 2002.

Joyce was a member of the LDS Church.

She is survived by children: Ellen May (Richard L.) Whitaker, Honeyville, UT; Roy D. Bissegger, Brigham City, UT; Joyce Elaine (Barry) Carroll, Brigham City; Reed Alan (Gracie) Bissegger, Fresno, CA; brother: Byron (Sheryl Gae) Bronson, Tremonton, UT; special sister-in-law, Edith Bronson, Plymouth, UT; special brother-in-law, Larry Campbell, Roy, UT; sister-in-law, Marcella Bissegger (Keith d 2004), and brother-in-law, Don Bissegger, both Brigham City, UT; 14 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

Her son, Wayne, six sisters, two brothers, and one granddaughter, Kami Ann preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at Myers Mortuary in Brigham City, UT--and then she was buried in the Providence, Utah, Cemetery.
