Warren N. Greene, a native of Greenville County, died at his home in the Roper Mountain Section of Greenville County, South Carolina. Warren and his wife were loyal members of Roper Mountain Baptist Church.
He is survived by six daughters, Mrs.Beulah Holcombe, Mrs. S.A.Smith, Mrs. M.D.Smith, Mrs. Henry Smith, Mrs. Claudius Duncan and Mrs. Paul Campbell all from Greenville; four sons, T.E. Greene from Batesville, W.G. Greene from Paris Station, G.G. Greene, Oscar Greene both from Greenville; one sister, Mrs. Silva Anne Greene Ashmore from Greenville; thirty-three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
His wife of 56 years, Theresa Hudson Greene died on the same day.
Services will be held at Roper Mountain Baptist Church this afternoon at 3 p.m. with Rev. J.H.Washington. Rev. J.N.Watson and Rev. G.B. Lee officiating followed by internment in church cemetery.
