Graveside services for Gwenneth "Gwen" Martin, 78, of Murfreesboro, who died Sunday, Dec. 26, at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, will be 11 a.m. today at Evergreen Cemetery. David Ash will officiate.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Frances LaFountain Casavant. She was preceded in death by a son, Walter Martin.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Jo Ann and Glen Shreve of Murfreesboro; a sister, Beverly Eldred of Belvidere Center, Vt.; a grandson, Darren Shreve of Murfreesboro; and a great-granddaughter, Kasey Shreve of Murfreesboro.

A native of Enosburg Fall, Vt., she lived in Murfreesboro for 26 years and was retired from General Electric. She was a seamstress specializing in curtains and porcelain dolls.

Woodfin Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
