The funeral of Mrs. Eva McMullen was held on Tuesday of this week. She had been ill a long time, and her death was not unexpected.
She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Harp, and was born and brought up here in Kirby, where she lived until her marriage to Mr. McMullen, since which she has resided in the town of La Grange.
The last sad rites were attended by a large number of her schoolmates and friends in this vicinity
