WOOD - At his residence, in Carrington, this county, on November 1st, 1881, Samuel C Wood, aged about 70 years. He was one of the old and highly respected citizens of that section of the county. He had been sorely afflicted with cancer for five years. He tried various remedies and spent last summer at Eureka Springs. He was the father of James T Wood, the merchant at Carrington.
