Peggy Weathers Hart, widow of Jack (Pete) Hart, Sr., of Bowman, formerly of North Charleston, died Saturday February 2, 2013 in St. George.

Peggy was born July 14, 1937 in St. George, a daughter of the late Marvin Alexander and Frances Ellen Hartzog Weathers.

She graduated from St. George High School and retired from Charleston Air Force Base and had been owner of Hart's Desire Craft shop in Goose Creek. She was a member of Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving: son, Jack Hart, Jr. and wife Mary of Aiken; daughter, Belinda H. Hilbert and husband David of Bowman; grandchildren are; Jacquelynn H. (Cam) Thomas, Alicia Hart and Casey Hart all of Aiken; Angela Hart, and Matthew Hilbert of Bowman, Shawn (Stefanie) David, of Summerville, two great-grandchildren; a brother, Marvin Alexander (Evelyn) Weathers, Land of Lakes, FL. and a step-sister, Jean H. Hill, Fort Mill, SC.

She was predeceased by her brother, Louis A. Weathers.

The funeral services will be held 11 AM, February 6, 2013, in the Duncan Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Lee and Rev. Michael Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Chapel Cemetery.
