Mrs. Opal Mae Vincent Teasley Waldo, age 73, of Rockwood, TN passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman, TN.
She was born July 24, 1939 in Roane County, TN to John Thomas and Mary Louise Hinds Vincent.
Mrs. Waldo was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Joy Marie Waldo; sister, Janie Vincent; and brother, Johnny "Buddy" Vincent.
Survivors include: Husband: James W. "Tom" Waldo of Rockwood, TN; Children: Brenda Isham & husband, Tommy James, Kathy Maynor & husband, Jerry, Cindy Waldo and Jeff Waldo all of Rockwood, TN.
Grandchildren: Michael Waldo & fiancee', Chelsea Smith of Kingston, TN, Jennifer Rather of Oliver Springs, TN, Jeffery Waldo of Rockwood, TN and 12 Great Grandchildren.
Brother: Jim Vincent & wife, Judy of Pikeville, TN. Several nieces and nephews Very Special Friend: Joyce Pelfrey of Midtown, TN.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Homer Gunter officiating.
Graveside and interment will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Glen Alice Cemetery, Rockwood.
