Howard L. McDaniel, 80 years of age, passed away Saturday January 26, 2013 at his residence. Born on August 19, 1932 in Mascot, Tennessee, he was the son of the late John and Lucy (Brooks) McDaniel.Mr. McDaniel had been employed as a tester for the former Lucas Aerospace in Aurora from where he retired. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. Mr. McDaniel enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. Survivors include his wife of 61 years of marriage, Peggy (Bell) McDaniel at their residence, sons James (Laurie) McDaniel of Streetsboro and Michael McDaniel of Mantua; siblings Paul (Lauren) McDaniel, David McDaniel and Claude ( Linda) McDaniel all of Knoxville, Tennessee, one granddaughter Jackie Scott and 1 great-granddaughter Lilly Scott. No calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions to the Lilly Scott, Hurler Syndrome Benefit Fund.
