Freddie was born on December 24, 1941, in Pinckneyville, IL, a son to Everett and Violet (Pilbean) Wright.
He was of the Baptist Faith and was an aircraft maintenance technician for the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 years. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War doing three tours and attaining the rank of master sergeant. Freddie wan an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
Survivors include one son, Dennis E. (Tana) Wright daughter, Dianna (Stephen) Lambert; seven brothers, Wayne Wright, Ronald Wright, Loren Wright, Larry Wright, Teddy Wright, Richard Wright and Bobby Wright; three sisters, Darlene (Walter) Kelley, Mary Kelly and Peggy Jonassen; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daniel Wright.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL, on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., with Reverend Kenneth Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Military graveside rites by Coulterville V.F.W. Post 6865.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL, on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
