Danbury-Services for Mrs. Amy Gordon Foote DANIEL, widow of Melvin J. DANIEL, of 9 South Well Avenue who died Wednesday in Sharon Hospital, Sharon [Litchfield Co., CT] will take place Saturday at 11 a.m. in the TOMLINSON Homestead, 336 Main St. with the Rev. Dr. Thomas H. CHAPPELL, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal church, Brookfield [Fairfield Co., CT] officiating. Burial will be in Wooster Cemetery [Danbury, Fairfield Co., CT] in the spring.
Mrs. DANIEL was born in Jamaica, British West Indies and has been a resident of Danbury [Fairfield Co., CT] more than forty years.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Agnes SIMMERMAN of Fitchburg, [Worcester Co.] Mass. and Mrs. Arch SWEETMAN, of West Medford [Middlesex Co.] Mass; two nieces and three nephews.
Daughter of Walter Randerson FOOTE b. ca 1851, England and Wilhelmina Gertrude Velante PEART b. ca 1859. Sister of Walter; Helen Isabella; Agnes Wilhelmina Gertrude; Nora Vere; Rachel Ruth; & Beryl Ivy FOOTE.
