PERRY - Gladys M., 1919 Bailey Hill Road, Eugene, died March 13, 1985 at the age of 71. She was born July 26, 1913 in Eugene. She was the great-granddaughter of the Gillespie family who were pioneers of this area. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Annette Perry of Winston; her daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Jack Mattison of Eugene, and Jeanne and Rodney Sherwood of Roseburg; 3 grandsons [this includes her step-grandson, Justin Sherwood], 4 granddaughters; a brother, John Gillespie of Eugene; and a sister, Alice Blair of Vancouver, Washington. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16th at 1 p.m. in LOUNSBURY-MUSGROVE FUNERAL CHAPEL with Reverend Elizabeth Dooley officiating. Concluding services will be at the Gillespie Cemetery. Visitation hours will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday. Contributions may be made to the Children's Bible Fund, in care of Central Presbyterian Church.
