Shelby County, TN death certificate. James Green Byrn died at St. Joseph Hospital, Memphis, TN. Parents not stated, but he was the son of George W. Byrn and Hannah M. Lunsford of Ripley. He was a farmer, age 81, married, and was living in rural Qulin, Butler County, Missouri.

His wife, the informant on the death certificate, was Mrs. Alcie Byrn, age 44, of Qulin, MO. (This would have been his third wife). He was a patient at the hospital for 3 weeks and died of lobar pneumonia, left lower lobe. He had been operated on for Prostatic hypertrophy, benign with retention. Other conditions were myocardial disease.

He was buried at Ripley on Feb 4, 1946 by Ripley Funeral Home.

J.G. Byrn and Mrs. Alcy Moore Parham were married Jan 6, 1924 in Lauderdale County, TN. After the death of James Green Byrn, Alcie Byrn married Earl McDaniel 19 Apr 1947 in Arkansas, both from Qulin, Butler County, Missouri.

First wife of James Green Byrn was Mary Allie Johnson Byrn. His second wife was Mattie M. Leird, married 10-Dec-1907. She died in 1920. I have found no record of children.
