Funeral services for Richard Lee Johnson, 46, of Melissa were held at 12:00 noon, Friday, Feb. 25, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
A graveside service followed at 3:00 p.m. at Smyrna Cemetery in Emory.
Pallbearers were Chuck Lorance, Keith Johnson, Randy Johnson, David Lorance, Cole Andrews, Chuck Beasley, Ivan Castle, Mark Bly, and Ronnie Bushland.
Mr. Johnson passed away Monday, Feb. 21.
He was born on Feb. 8, 1959, in Fort Worth to William David and Mattie Pauline (Terry) Johnson.
He was a licensed electrician.
He is survived by his sons, Jacob Johnson of Allen and Adam Fordyce of Whitesboro; daughters, Jenna and Jessica Johnson both of Allen, and Mattie Johnson of Whitesboro; father, William Johnson of Emory; brother, Mike Terry of Hemphill; sisters, Susan Reinis of Plano, Donna Johnson of Bells, and Vicky Johnson and Christy Akin, both of Whitewright.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
