She was born Oct. 8, 1902, in Monongah, a daughter of the late Sanders Steven and Mary Molly Colvin Davidson.
She was survived by three sons, three daughters, one brother, Woodrow Davidson; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Vernon Satterfield, who died in 1976. Also preceding her in death were four brothers, Mineral Davidson, Parker Davidson, Lester Davidson and Jennings Davidson; two sister, Lea Ann Davidson and Martha Moran; and a grandson, Jeffery Satterfield.
She was a housewife. She was the oldest member of the Monongah United Methodist Church. She was a member of the church's women' society. She was a former volunteer for the Monongah High School Band. She was historian for her family and of events associated with the Monongah area.
The Ford Funeral Home of Fairmont was in charge of the arrangements and the funeral service was at the R. C. Jones Chapel with the Rev. Charles Flint officiating.
Memorial contributions could be made to the Monongah United Methodist Church.
