Myers died at the Stoker Nursing Home at 8 p.m. Thursday, of complications, after a one-year illness.
He was born in Boone County on April 3, 1861, to George W. and Sidney Ann Thompson Myers. In February 1892, he was married to Carrie G. Gallaher, who survives.
The retired farmer had been a member of the Kirklin Presbyterian Church for 74 years.
In addition to the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Owen Finney, Kirklin, one brother, Grant Myers, Noblesville, six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren survive.
He was preceded in death by a son, Everett, and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Neal.
Rev. Malcolm McNeal will officiate at the burial services. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hunt Funeral Home.
