Freddie H. Collins, 62, Keplar Lane, Greeneville, died Monday at his home.

Mr. Collins was a fish farmer and owner of Fred's Fish Farm.

He retired from MC Septic Services and the Greeneville City School System.

Mr. Collins was a member of New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, the Greene County Honor Guard, and the American Legion.

His family stated, "He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and child of God. His great love was children of all ages. He used the gifts that God gave him to make children happy. He was always willing to do the work of the church and community.

"His hobbies were wood carving, fishing, and great fish fries. In the past few months, he thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of God's birds and flowers.

"He proudly served 19 years active military and then four years volunteer service with the Greene County Honor Guard, where he continued to serve with his brothers-in-arms until his death.

"Mr. Collins was a man of true grit, pure integrity and faced death head on with grace and dignity."
