Corine (Jordan) Glaze, 87, of Abilene, died at her residence Thursday, February 28, 2008. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 3rd, at Hawley Cemetery, with Marcell Glaze and Lee Howard officiating, under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home, 1443 N. 2ns St. Corine was born in Merkel, Texas, on March 27, 1920, the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Ellen Ida (Butler) Jordan.She grew up in Hawley and was a longtime member of the Second Baptist Church. She married Cleo Glaze in 1935, in Lubbock, and moved to Abilene in 1955. He preceded her in death in 2000. She was a homemaker and a cosmetologist. She is survived by a son, David Glaze and wife Barbara of Ft. Worth; two daughters - Kaye Nelson and husband Lynn of Abilene and Sonya Warren and husband Robert of Buffalo Gap; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
