Evelyn Gertrude Mattox Love (1922 - 2013)

Mrs. Evelyn M. Love, age 91 of Franklin, TN and formerly of Jackson, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2013 at Grace Health Care in Franklin, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Rev. John Bonson officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Love was born on January 5, 1922 in Belle Fontaine, MS to W.C. and Lema Mattox. She was a graduate of Lambuth College and taught in the Jackson City Schools for 26 years. She was a member of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Love and her son, James Robert Love.

She is survived by two daughters, Judith Love Lifsey (David) and Anita Love Bice (Butch); a daughter-in-law, Liz Harvell Love; grandchildren, William D. Lifsey (Ashlea), Linda L. Garrad (Jimmy), Charlie E. Bice, Robert Cooper Bice, and Sarah E. Bice; and great grandchildren, Anna and Jackson Lifsey and Luke and Ruby Garrad.

Friends may visit with the Love family beginning at 1 p.m., one hour prior to the service on Monday, February 4, 2013. George A. Smith and Sons
